Tina P. Schwartz is a freelance author of ten nonfiction books as well as many magazine and online articles. She loves meeting many kids while doing author visits at schools and libraries, as well as meeting adults while speaking at writing conferences and at book signings.

A Columbia College-Chicago graduate, with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communication, Schwartz worked in Advertising for several years writing copy and selling commercial airtime.She then began writing books and worked as an Assistant Youth Librarian. In 2012, she founded The Purcell (literary) Agency.

Tina is a self-proclaimed tomboy who enjoys reading, playing sports, watching extreme sports, and watching movies. She loves dogs and children.
