Theresa TuaÑo

Theresa Tuaño is a writer and illustrator who enjoys using the interplay of words and pictures to create lyrical, heartwarming stories that fuel the imagination. She creates pictures with pencil, ink and digital techniques – either using intricate line work, or by carving out shapes that evoke woodblock and linocut. Theresa’s work is inspired by her love of nature, her Filipino-American heritage, and by the art and folklore she encountered during her many years living abroad as an international development and environmental conservation specialist. Theresa and her family now call Cape Cod, Massachusetts home. When she’s not writing or illustrating, Theresa can usually be found working in her garden or planning her next international trip.
