JACK AZAR

Jack Azar moved from Ramallah, Palestine, to the United States when he was just thirteen years old. Knowing the hardships of a childhood where food was not always guaranteed, Jack was determined to open up restaurants so he could serve the community and never go hungry again. And he did just that. As President and CEO of Manhattan Pizza Company and American Culinary Solutions, with 300 plus employees, Jack’s mission is to inspire and encourage young people. He has been on the board of the Arab America Foundation (AAF), a national foundation with 35,000+ members, the Parish Council of St George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Washington DC, and the Saint Ignatius Foundation.

Jack’s debut young adult novel-in-verse, WATERMELON TEARS (working title), written with NYT best-selling author Mary Rand Hess, is forthcoming in 2027 by Caitlyn Dlouhy Books. He’s looking forward to sharing this story inspired by his real-life experiences with readers. He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Jumana and their four children: Jadyn, Julia, Jacob, and Jacklyn.
