Alexia M. Andoni is a teacher and an author. Her debut picture book Love Makes Our Family, illustrated by Shahrzad Maydani—about a two-mom adding up from one to 10 as their family grows with each new arrival, ending with one very full house and a reminder that at the heart of every family is love—will be released spring 2027 by Beach Lane/S&S.

Alexia earned a BS in Child Development and Elementary Education from Michigan State University and an MS in Leadership and Policy in Early Care and Education from Wheelock College (now Boston University) in Boston, MA.
