Molly Harris’s debut picture book, The Big Squeeze, illustrated by Alison Hawkins, will release in summer 2024 from Harper Children’s. She has a BA in English and Irish Studies from Boston College and is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Children’s Book Ireland (CBI).

Molly has 12+ years of experience in professional writing: from writing feature pieces for print magazines, to serving as a senior editor for a daily consumer news site, to contributing over 100 articles for the women’s creative media company Brit + Co. Today, she writes technical and marketing materials for a leading cybersecurity company.

Molly enjoys world traveling, falling asleep during riveting TV shows, and playing The Sims. She grew up in Plymouth, Massachusetts and tends to move country every few years. She currently lives in Ireland with her husband, two sons, and larger-than-life dog.
