Delia Ruiz is a first generation Latinx author from San Antonio, Texas. Her forthcoming ¡123Baila! board book series (Soaring Brook Press) will be released this September. She received her master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). In addition to working at Highlights Foundation, Delia is a program coordinator for the annual Latinx Book Festival, a Bookstagang book reviewer, and a member of Las Musas. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and pug. Delia hopes to inspire the next generation of writers who also come from immigrant households.
